Bicycle Specialist

Full-time, Permanent

We are a new bike shop, though part of the Lings Motor Group Family, looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Bicycle Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience and a love for all things cycling, as well as a drive to provide exceptional customer service. This new venture comes with a couple of exciting new brands to the industry, Gas Gas and Husqvarna.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Greet customers, assess their needs and provide expert recommendations on bikes and accessories. Close sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Technical support: Assemble, maintain and repair bikes, as well as diagnose and resolve technical issues on all bikes, including eBikes. (Cytech qualification highly desirable)
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and organised inventory of bikes, parts and accessories.
  • Marketing: Assist with marketing activities including social media, website, in store and external events.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of bicycles and components.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Motorcycle Technician

Full-time, Permanent

As a Lings Motor Group Triumph Workshop Technician you will be welcomed into our family owned and managed team, you will receive all of the up to date and relevant training on all new and updated models, company processes and equipment and also our aftersales customer care to ensure you are able to provide the high levels of workmanship and care that we are associated with. Suitable candidates must be passionate about customer service, be self-motivated to be part of our highly successful Aftersales team and competent in this position whilst working alone and also as part of a team.

Key Objectives:

  • Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motorcycles
  • Work with other departments to facilitate the servicing and repair of motorcycles
  • Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with the Company, manufacturer and industry guidelines
  • Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction
  • Help the Company achieve industry leading standards of process efficiency
  • To build a rapport with customers and identify their requirements
  • To represent the brand in accordance with dealer standards and Company requirements

Applicant’s requirements: A strong motorcycle trade technician background is required for applicants

  • Be a good communicator and have great interaction skills.
  • You must be highly motivated and have a determination to succeed.
  • You must be well organised and be able to manage your time.
  • You must hold a valid full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points, a clean motorcycle licence would be beneficial.

Motorcycle Sales Executive

Full-time, Commission

Are you looking to join a well established motorcycle dealer in the Norfolk/Suffolk/Essex area? At Lings Motor Group, we are looking for a well presented, customer focused sales person to assist us in the growth of our business.The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Meeting and Greeting
  • Handling customer enquiries
  • Dealing with customers throughout the buying experience
  • Following up Pre/Post sale enquiries
  • Recording all actions taken
  • Presenting motorcycles to a very high standard for sale
  • Uploading images and sales descriptions of motorcycle stock
  • Plus any other actions deemed necessary for the smooth running of the business

Previous sales experience preferred but isn't essential, however would be a benefit, in-house and Honda training will be provided. Perfect Time Keeping, Great Presentation, Strong IT Skills, Being able to work to specific time/targets & having own transport are all very important to this job role. Having a high interest/passion for motorcycles and a full motorcycle licence would massive benefit for the successful applicant.

Delivery Driver

Full-time

As a Lings Motor Group Triumph Delivery Driver you will be welcomed into our family owned and managed team, you will receive training in company processes and our customer care, to ensure you are able to provide the high levels of service and care that we are associated with. The Lings Motor Group - Motorcycle Department supplies many top-valued brands which are consistently high ranked among the world, including Triumph, Honda and Husqvarna, we also have a huge selection of other franchised used motorcycles within our 5 site company too.

Main Purpose of Job:

  • To transport products to our nationwide customers.
  • To transport products between internal branches.
  • To ensure the highest standard of courtesy and efficiency in customer contact and communication.
  • To regularly complete and record the delivery vehicle's safety checklists.
  • To record all journeys on the company's transport record sheet.
  • To maintain and assits in the appearance and safety of the delivery vehicle .

Warehouse Operative

At Lings Honda Harleston, part of the Lings Motor Group, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team. Lings are main dealers for Honda cars, motorcycles and power equipment, Triumph motorcycles and Husqvarna motorcycles. From the warehouse in Harleston we operate our mail order department sending out parts, clothing and accessories to customers all over the world.

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Receiving and checking in goods from our suppliers
  • Correctly locating items in our warehouse
  • Accurately identifying items to be shipped to customers
  • Be comfortable using a computer for entering information for shipments
  • Packing orders to be shipped
  • Carrying out stock check
